Problem Set and Midterm
Important Information- Make up exam
policy: In order to be fair to all students the official
university procedures will be followed in all cases. In particular,
this implies that no make up exams will be granted unless you have an
official, university-approved excuse accompanied by appropriate written
and verifiable documentation for missing the in-class exam. In such
circumstances contact me as soon as possible to make arrangements. For
more details, please refer to the Attendance and Assessment Policy.
- Extra credit
policy: Departmental policy prohibits extra credit for
individual students. Extra credit opportunities can be offered only to
all students in the class. Since every student want more points, extra
credit would only raise the average. This will have no effect on the
final grade. Therefore, there will be no extra credit
opportunities.
